At the market, I met this young Bobo begging people to buy him a bucket to hawk water but they chased him away and gave him stern warning not to cross that place again.
I saw him crying and in tears, he asked me if i could help.
I couldn’t even say no because what captivated me was that he wasn’t asking for money but something that will fetch him money.
I took him to where they sell the bucket and we bought one.
I asked him how much profit they make from selling water and he said they make 300 naira profit per bag.
He tries his best to sell 10 bags in a day to make 3000 per day.
God I was marveled and took him to cold room where they sell water.
I paid for the bags of water then gave him extra cash to eat and keep some change for himself.
You needed to see his excitement, he said he can finally assist his mother with some expenses.
Even the people that chased him away were shouting God bless you to me.
My happiness is that I ended up passing a message to everyone of them through my actions.
