There goes our future creators... The UK is already falling behind other countries when it comes to presence on modern media. This will set us back even further. Not to mention the REAL elephant in the room; linking your ID's to accounts where previously it wasn't a requirement. With how often things get hacked it puts everyone at risk. Make no mistake, Starmer and his band of goons don't give two damns about the children, what they want is a way to track those who criticise them (and a certain other country) on the platforms through their ID's. Even if HIS government won't be around long enough to use it against us, there is no doubt in my mind that this system will be abused when a more tyrannical leader takes power. The UK is just spiralling at this point, I'm having serious thoughts about getting out. Who's countries have 3Gb + upload speeds?

🚨 SUMMARY: The UK's social media ban for children from early 2027: - "User-to-user" apps where people create, share and interact with content (e.g. TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, X, Facebook) will be banned for under-16s - WhatsApp, Signal and YouTube Kids will be exempt - Under-16s will also be banned from livestreaming, messaging strangers on gaming apps like Discord and using disappearing messages - 16 and 17 year olds will face nightly social media curfews and limits on infinite scrolling with more details next month - AI "romantic companion" chatbots will be banned for under-18s - Adults can still access social media through age checks like facial recognition, digital IDs, passports and credit cards

@rassicas But speaking to some members of the Japanese fanbase, they seem to be of the belief that posting Splatoon merchandise like this has led them to believing there is no market for this stuff overseas.

@deepsinkfreak I honestly thought Nintendo of America were past the whole "advertising Splatoon immaturely" thing. I know a key part of the demographic is children, but there's far more people interested than just children!

@WoomyFam Yeah you're very limited for choice if you want Splatoon merchandise outside of Japan. I just hope one day that Nintendo sees the potential in expanding their efforts.

Aside from amiibos, I’ve only been able to find a few small and miscellaneous items, and the splattershot water gun once from a store in my area. Speaking of the amiibos, the last time I remember seeing them physically in a store was 2017, it was Pearl and Marina. I’ve had to order amiibos online ever since.

@MAGURO_____SUKI 任天堂は2019年にスプラトゥーン2のアートブックを発売した際、翻訳版のリリースを中止しました。ハイカラウォーカーやバンカラウォーカーは発売されず、これはスプラトゥーンの様々なグッズ、塗り絵でさえも同様です。
