Although I coined the term "Megami Tensei," it can be interpreted in various ways. I believe the translation "Reincarnation of the Goddess" makes it clear that this is a story about the reincarnation of the goddess Izanami. For that reason, I felt this was a wonderful title.

@AFoolAmI @ArtsyMarx1st I’m talking about the 7 Sages. They were depicted like this all over the world. In Sumerian mythology Adapu was the first of the Sages. Adapu sounds a bit like the Jesus archetype. I wasn’t saying the literal story of Jesus went to those places.

posts like this are funny cuz sure, but jesus wasnt a real guy. theres no evidence beyond anecdotal that he was real, and most details of his life are borrowed from other religions. so its like a bunch of ppl arguing over what hercules looked like.

@ArtsyMarx1st @AFoolAmI Yeah Jesus could have been all of them too (spiritually). Probably started with Adapu, the first of the 7 Sages. The shiny one/serpent beings. Like Quetzalcoatl/Kukulkan in Mexico, Fuxi and Nuwa in China, the Nagas in Hinduism, the serpent in the Garden, etc.

@whatzwzitz1 @brieche52084083 There are arguments Paul makes from the Septuagint that he couldn't make from the Hebrew, if he knew it (Galatians 3:15-18). It's a grammatical argument that can only be had from the Greek. The Hebrew says something different
