#CUIN6320 A2: I'm interested in learning more about live streaming tools. Last year, I had parents who were unable to attend events on campus such as our holiday party and buddy fun day. This would be a great way for those parents to interact with the kids, virtually.

@Autie73155903 #CUIN6320 I think social media is great for networking. I love having a PLN on Twitter. Just by following some key accounts and occasionally participating in chats I have cultivated an environment that helps me feel supported and generate ideas outside of my school!

@Willmatic9428 #CUIN6320 I forgot about YouTube! I was thinking written media but you are right, using YouTube to upload and share videos is a great use, especially at the classroom level!

#CUIN6320 A1: Educators can have their students make YouTube videos demonstrating their knowledge of the topic. You could also have your students connect with other classrooms to discuss things that both classes are learning from the different perspectives.

#CUIN6320 A1: Schools can use Facebook and Twitter to quickly communicate with families and communities and keep them up to date. Teachers can use programs like Twitter or blogs to have students write and share responses.

#CUIN6320 A4: I want to improve in using technology to help my students connect outside of the classroom. We are pretty good at using it to collaborate with each other, but connecting with experts, exploring new places, etc.

@drbulentdogan A2: Technology allows for automatic feedback. I used a google survey with my parents today to gather information about their students. It was much easier than providing a paper copy. #CUIN6320

@KEYS917 #CUIN6320 I use screencasts all the time to help students see how to access materials, or to do thinkalouds in asynchronous virtual learning! I do worry about video overload and how to break that up for kids. I like tools like @edpuzzle to embed checks for understanding

A2: Because of virtual teaching, many of the specialists at my school have used different video recording tools to assist parents and students navigate through platforms needed to access learning tools. #CUIN6320

@drbulentdogan #CUIN6320 A2: Technology tools like Google Forms or Quizziz give participants immediate feedback. This helps participants develop understanding and facilitators to catch misunderstandings. The advantage is 100% participation to connect with all learners

@drbulentdogan #CUIN6320 Yup I am! My highschoolers were troopers despite all the first-day technical challenges. Our amazing admin at @EnergyIHS was online ALL DAY helping students and staff troubleshoot and get into classes.=!
