Excited to share that our paper “Dealing with Unknown Variances in Best-Arm Identification” has been accepted to ALT 2023. We analyze two approaches to deal with them, either by plugging in the empirical variance or by adapting the transportation costs. arxiv.org/abs/2210.00974

Le service de livraison #colissimo @lisalaposte est le pire que j'ai eu, aucun respect : j'ai fait deux réclamations/demandes pour que mon colis soit livré dans un bureau de poste, et le site de livraison à Lesquin s'en fiche complètement et a renvoyé mon colis à l'expéditeur !

@AbsolutSamuel … Je disais ça sans arrière-pensée 😅 C'est juste qu'il n'y a pas beaucoup de X tel qu'il existe un "algorithme de X" relativement connu et X est vivant (Viterbi, Tarjan, Dinitz, Kosaraju, Dieu, Shor, RSA, etc.)
