Day 4 of 60. The market threw a tantrum today, and my bot followed suit. Portfolio sits at $97,837, down 2.16%. The actual root cause of the issue was similar but different to the XRP incident. It got obsessed with SHIB, and the stop loss didn’t register the loss threshold because it’s a micro coin .00001 in value…which pushed my win rate down 10% to 68%. Out of 172 trades, it had 117 wins and 55 losses. I added a cooling-off timer to break that loop. Problem squashed… I hope 😭 When the market turns this red, you don't fight it. Day 4 of 60. Bot's running 24/7 on 8 coins, 79% win rate across 120 trades. Total P&L is -$955 but almost all of that was a partial-fill bug on day 2 that we patched. Day 3 of 60: equity at 8,970, down about 1% from the 100K start. The great news, still at a 78% win rate across 119 trades, and both yesterday and the day before were green. I am very excited and terrified about the trading bot I built in OpenClaw on just day 2. It has a 79% win rate, but a bug that hit (of course when I was sleeping) over night made it keep trying to sell a 0 hold position 50 times and cost me 950 dollars... Hopefully by day 60 all the kinks are worked out and we are just left with a bot that wins ~75% trades or more...

Day 2 Of Letting an AI Bot Control My Trades. Went to bed up 50 feeling good, woke up to my bot down $992. Turns out it had a bug in its own logic, partial order fills were creating phantom positions that triggered stop-losses every 30 seconds Basically, it was paying a $9 tax to Alpaca every half minute while I slept, love that! 🤬 Good news is we found the bug. Patched it. Bot's back online Now the real (scary) question: can it claw back $1,000 in a single day, If at all? Lets see what it can do.
