I wasn’t looking through my phone, just holding it, so not the best, a finger creeps into shot. Also, quite close to my face so a couple of audible nervous laughs holding back the tears. Then it ends because it was dancing time.

@AllThingsFoos Aurora is the first song T recorded when he joined the band. In a few interviews he’s been quoted as saying that if the band were remembered for one song Aurora would be it. Aurora is also one of my favourites too, I’m so glad to hear it live (albeit not in person).

Relief with last minute tickets, bit of a mad dash for it & we were actually there. Way up in the rafters but the atmosphere was no less. Wonderful tribute for #TaylorHawkins bringing together his favourite bands & musicians, friends & family. They went big. It was emotional. 😩

“Foo Fighters and *drummer*” is how I imagine FF continuing as a band. Never replacing TH but having guest drummers to play with/contribute to the band.

23 June 2018 London Stadium — And most recently, back in London and giving it their all, as ever. A good few from Concrete and Gold getting an outing and sounding amazing live. And Taylor did his Freddie thing. Plus an all out drum solo on Rope. What a wonderful talent he was.

…We were geared up for the release of Concrete and Gold after that show.
