My take on this whole piracy stuff is that, it's okay to pirate stuff, some stuff are just almost impossible to get without piracy and some people are just too broke to spend money on game and vns, I used to pirate games all the time. But saying that buying vn is stupid-

VN fans are the only gaming fandom that will tell you that their genre is so great and worth indulging in, but then pirate everything in the genre. And then wonder why it's not what it used to be, why all the ones you want are never getting localized, etc.

Mangagamer and Jast are no way near as popular as Steam, and Steam handles this genre terribly by censoring and banning a lot of them then proposing you some atrocious gross fetishstic western shovelware

@rememertofocus I fell off for the most part as soon as I graduated from college. Now I just watch old stuff that I missed and mostly ignore new anime.

I just hit 2 years without watching anime. Last time I opened an episode was koe no katachi movie in 2024
the opportunity to get back never comes. I practically plan my entire year around what I'm going to consume until the end of the year, and I didn't plan any anime for 2026...
