@Humornaut yeah i feel that the purpose of this interaction was to dramatize the scene and give hero a moment, at the expense of kel's character (the scene moves on from it so quickly too). he usually tries to avoid violence even if someone is saying reproachable things so i didn't like it

Wrong about the method but conceptually I was correct. This whole diversion has given a moment where Kel lashes out in anger and hurts Hero. If intentional, not sure how I feel about the execution

@figsler @kelzreals i agree about mari, i like how the game respects that you can't know what dead people think. i think it is extremely interesting how there are no objective portayals of living mari in the entire game, only memories, speculations, spirits, and benevolent or hellish caricatures

around the pandemic time, friends or others around me would sometimes point out how pessimistic and gloomy i was. i wasn't even trying to act that way, i was only made aware of it by others nowadays i think i'm a lot better though! once i realized it, i worked on it and changed

i learned over the past few years that a person who's the least emotional and most rational isn't really wise at all. wise people don't neglect emotions but aren't at the mercy of them either, and so they understand a lot more

i feel like as you get older you get so much better at noticing the difference between how your mind works at 4pm vs. at 4am
