Found this on Reddit. This is how I know it's autism and not depression or anxiety. The healthier I am, the more autistic I act because I know how to regulate my own body.

‘Non-verbal’ implies lack of speech. It both demands spoken language and put the onus on the child, as opposed to their environment. All children communicate. It is up to us to find out how.

I have no idea what the game is, but my daughter is certainly not ‘non-verbal’. This shows that she is a) selectively speaking. She chooses when to speak and b) thrives in a quiet, low demand environment. Simply, she is happy to speak when she is happy
