like from his point of view it was so normal to have buck come, sit and talk to him in the middle of the work day that he didn’t give it a second thought. how may times has buck just sat there talking eddie’s ear off about anything while eddie kept working and answering happily??

I know some disliked that eddie didn't look at buck during this scene til the end, but... i love that? it means eddie has buck's presence so automatized that he CAN do other things while chatting with buck. it's effortless, it's part of his routine by now

one of my fav small things is when they specify that buddie have a different relationship with each other than they do with other people. "have you told your sister, eddie, anyone?" just GETS ME like they're different with each other and it's kinda unsaid but everyone just Knows
