While many say that web3 gaming is ded, Axie, Moku, Cambria and more continue to put up data that illustrates the exact opposite. Crypto is at a crossroads. It's been a long, dark, cold, journey, something that I told you from the beginning. At the same time, the future looks bright if you squint hard enough. Payments, remittance, and RWA use cases are exploding. Regulatory barriers are crumbling. Speculation has been removed (though this may just be a momentary lull), and all that's left is building great products for interested people and making sure that real value is created. As digital payments grow, the demand for fun things to do onchain will eventually blossom. AI is redefining what people will be able to do in the future. While covid was a once in a lifetime event, which we were proud to help get people through, the coming of AI also promises similar disruptions. Wage and job displacement. Government stimulus. More free time. Conventional work may go extinct, and what's left will be finding friends, meaning, and interesting experiences on the internet. That might seem dark to some, but for our generation it represents an opportunity and the acceleration of a trend that's been happening most of our lives.
