It was about this time 10 years ago that not one but TWO Broomall Newtown Baseball teams became Babe Ruth World Series Champions. The first and only in the history of BN Baseball. What a fun ride it was to watch them play. Thanks guys for the great memories!

The BN 14s went the farthest in the BRL Tourneys making it to the MAR Championship game where they faced Altoona; a trip to the Babe Ruth World Series on the line. The BN 14s fell to Altoona by a final score of 7-11. Shout out to @__ashleymatthews for her content contributions.

Talk about a pitcher's duel. The BN Senior Legion vs. Yardley Morrisville was 0-0 at the end of 7. YM scored a run in the top of the 8th. BN Senior Legion answered with a walk-off. Now it's onto the semi-finals of the PA American Legion Region 3 Tournament tomorrow at noon!

Thank you the players and coaches of the Broomall Newtown Baseball 13 Yr Old Tournament Team on a great Babe Ruth Tournament Season! They represented BN well. Shout out to manager, Steve DiBlasi and coaches Mike Lomas, Tom Tray and Victor Sage.

The BN 14s continued their winning ways in Saturday's game against Berlin NJ. Maybe it's teamwork, maybe it's the hair. Who knows what the secret ingredient is, but the win propelled the team to a spot in the Babe Ruth Mid-Altantic Region Championship Game!

BN Sr Legion is hosting the PA American Legion Region 3 Tourney Games are played at the MNHS fields. The BN Opener included an American Legion color guard & the National Anthem sung by 2024 MN grad @_anniedougherty_. The @bnseniorlegion team plays today at 3 pm.

@TMacPhils and @bendavisnbcs the Broomall Newtown 13 Yr Old Team is competing in the Babe Ruth Mid Atlantic Tourney in Altoona. The players & families took a bus to catch the @Phillies v Pirates tonight! They are so excited. Give them a shout out!

The BN 14 Yr Old Tournament Team defeated Mifflin County by a score of 9-1 in game 2 of the Babe Ruth MAR Tourney. Buckley, Magee, Patterson & Kemble each had 2 RBIs. Brady Doyle had another outstanding performance earning the W, with 6Ks, allowing only 2 hits & 0 runs.

Tough day but there is a tomorrow.
