@gowza21 They need to understand how to regroup after the oppo get a few in a row. Too many go into their shells, don't lead, don't take chances as they are scared to make a mistake. Need some personalities willing to be strong, centre of attention & drag others to be bold. You were one.

Blame Voss if you want but Carlton players are shit, Chesser always makes the wrong decision, number 17 gets in way all the time, Cripps too slow, 33 no good, Walsh baulk everyone, rucks are crap. #my2cents

And in the end only kindness matters. He did such a good job in this role. Funny nerdy but a strength of friendship mirroring what we all should have in our lives. RIP

@PAFC . Every year the family present the Fos Williams medal for the best team man. Today would have been his 104th birthday but his influence on his peers, his players, the club & his family continues to fuel excellence, vision and care. May 2026 be gr8 portadelaidefc.com.au/news/1311266/r…

If I was coaching an AFLW team, I'd have been chasing Chinaza Uchendu from Melbourne City ALeague. Perfect prototype for athleticism, decision making and could adapt kicking with a sherrin precision ball.

Sportal @OneWorldLED scoreboard & software so good even in full sun. Great videos, intros and sponsor promos. Great to see @AdelaideUnited women have this technology in games. Hope they use video during game & replays. Go United. Leading the way in stadiums. Now for a win.

@DanAbrahams77 My high performance mindset teaches players to use 1 excuse 2 new plans when things go wrong. The excuse is simply to move on quickly whilst the important part is the new plans for improvement. Coaches are part of the new plans. Too much focus on accountability creates stress.

Rick Pitino, legendary coach, doesn’t want to hear excuses. For him excuses are a sign of weakness. I agree, excuses help no one. High performance teams filled with high performance players look and search for reasons in order to hold themselves accountable… “There are reasons and I am accountable for those reasons…” Reasons require sense-making frameworks. This is why I tend to insist that teams I work with adopt my High Performance Mindset framework (or at least something similar). To ward off excuses we need a detailed framework that helps us make sense of a loss. “We dropped down to our Low Performance Mindset. What instigated this? How did this play out? What would a High Performance Mindset have looked like in these moments? What could we as coaches have done to help players better stay in this mindset?” Sense-making conversations around frameworks helps people find reasons, hold themselves accountable, and build solutions…together!

@AdelaideUnited I'll be there but can we get the @sportal scoreboard working at ServiceSA so we can see replays and highlights during game. It also allows fans to log on and see scores live.

@bdosi72 @AlanBurnett03 @kanecornes @PAFC I haven't mentioned any of these, but in all my dealings with young athletes suggest interviewing champions can help fast track their development. No difference to referencing Kahneman, Teslar etc in expanding knowledge. Look forward to Josh coaching. Loved his work at North.

@BOGperformance @AlanBurnett03 @kanecornes @PAFC Constantly referencing utter tripe like ‘creed’ ‘existing to win’ ‘Jack Cahill’ ‘Russell ebert’ ‘35 flags’ ‘prison bars’ and the glory years of an entity that no longer exists etc etc is working well so far! Cheers! 🤣

The issue that’s holding @pafc back and distorting AFL expectations. I’m certain an 18-year-old Victorian recruit doesn’t care about a SANFL flag won in 1929. Full thoughts here. sen.com.au/news/2025/11/1…

@BOGperformance @AlanBurnett03 @kanecornes @PAFC I know M Blight used to get stuck in, and smoked cigarettes! Might consider him to be an influential champion! We better all take up smoking if we want to win a flag - based on the ‘good ole days’

@bdosi72 @AlanBurnett03 @kanecornes @PAFC Are we discussing champions or footballers. Those who most influenced the games might not be the ones smashing beers on a Thurs. Course there are exceptions to the rule but having done my Masters research into Champ behaviour ( gold medalists, premierships etc) talking about them

@BOGperformance @AlanBurnett03 @kanecornes @PAFC Footballers in the 70’s & 80’s used to smash the beers after training on Thursday nights too!! Should today’s players be mirroring that behaviour too?? Port power people can beat their chests and claim they ‘exist to win premierships’ as much as they like - it means nothing!

@bdosi72 @AlanBurnett03 @kanecornes @PAFC I can assure you, nothing is further from the truth. I love change, improvement & excellence. In order to reach the .5% where champions sit on a bell curve it is important to learn from those who sit/ sat there. That includes current champions & incidentally mirrors those of past

@AlanBurnett03 @BOGperformance @kanecornes @PAFC I know who she is champion! Doesn’t detract from the fact the she, along with the rest of you port power fans all live in the past, with the constant references to the 80’s, and the creed, and Ebert, and prison bars etc etc
