Nor do they have the opportunity to explore interesting (expensive) novel experiences. So kids actually fill a time void / listlessness.

@BasedHoopart @Landeur You're conflating muddy fields with nature. Most lifeless, muddy fields are ecological deserts that would not be that way if it weren't for man's intervention. I'd much rather see a Yellowstone than some curated gardens, they're more important in every way.
