@RC13301 Correct, it's after DS1 and there's a line about the scene from DS2 not having happened yet, so it's between the two. I didn't want to get any more specific than that.

@BenCounter Is the date of when Deep Cover takes place also not set in stone, other than being after the first game (and probably the second given the reference to Isaac having failed)?

Hi @BenCounter, I got a question about the finale of Deep Cover. What was up with that scene with Altman, and why wasn't it the Marker speaking through him? He says "pushback" from the brain against the Marker and their "conflict" is the cause, but this isn't present in the games

@RC13301 Absolutely, it was probably first built there deliberately so it could be exploited as a power source, but none of that is set in stone.

@BenCounter Thank you for clarifying this. Was the origin of the Red Marker on Ganymede, and exactly how long it has been there powering the colony's radiation shielding, meant to be left ambiguous as well?

@Dreadnaughton Probably bone-coloured. The Soul Drinkers aren’t exactly Codex-compliant so there’s a lot of wiggle room when it comes to that sort of thing. Ranks above Sergeant would have gold trim instead of bone.

@ProbablyTired1 If memory serves he replaced one or two with improvised bionics. To replace the whole shebang he’d need his entire lower half bionicised. The SDs are low on resources for most of the series so they might just not be able to do that. (Honestly I hadn’t considered the question)

@BenCounter Mr. Counter I just recently finished rereading the Soul Drinkers Omnibuses again and I have a question Given the amount of problems his mutant legs caused him, why did Sarpedon never replace them with augmetics? He never even seems to consider it, even after abraxes.
