It’s really nice for the collection to be with a museum that values the bravery and sacrifices of our military and doesn’t follow a woke agenda… @NAM_London @I_W_M
“What do you think? Has it all gone a bit too far?”
The only thing that’s “gone a bit too far” is the BBC’s fervent desire to convince us that there are “too many dog-friendly spaces.”
So here’s what I think, if you really want my opinion, @BBC
Fuck off with your gaslighting.
🚨BREAKING: This incredible LAPD Horse kicked a "No Kings" protestor to the ground after he tried blocking them with his body.
Can this horse be awarded a medal?

I will speak more plainly than most
Those Brits who peacock as left wing opponents of the far right are among the most disgusting people in humanity
The fact that you march alongside the Islamic fundamentalist supporters of the ayatollahs - those who stabbed Salman Rushdie in the eye, who hang gays and butcher women, who fire rockets upon Israeli civilians and funded Hamas, who massacred thousands on the streets of Tehran - makes you champions of the most reactionary forces on earth
The fact that our media is captured by idiots like you and thus you are never held to account does not change this
You - the most pompous, the most self-aggrandising, the most preachy and hectoring - are the scum of Britain

So let me get this straight. Keir Starmer personally visited Peacehaven mosque where they had the porch set on fire and gave them another £10 million to keep their Muslim community safe.
But in north London in a Jewish community ambulances were set on fire right next to a synagogue. This looked far more severe than Peacehaven. Why didn’t Keir Starmer visit the north London synagogue next to where the ambulances were set on fire, isn’t his wife Jewish? I’m very confused!
Moments like this tells you about leadership.
The Tories and Reform would have rushed us into the conflict in the Middle East without thinking through the consequences it would have for British people.
My Labour government will always make decisions in the national interest.
I recently asked Jewish students at a leading UK university if they saw a future for themselves here. Not one said yes. Today Hatzolah ambulances, whose sole purpose is to save life - ANY life - are burned in London. A country where Jews no longer feel they have a future is already in crisis.
Sad to hear military is retiring its fleet of Land Rovers.
As a young airman on Tactical Communications Wing 82-6 I spent a huge portion of my life in them.
2 memories:
1. Working with the 47 Sqn Herc SF Flight post Falklands-war, practicing running off-loads & extractions of 'Airhead Party' during endless (and vomit-inducing) tac landings & take-offs
2. Demonstrating a 'hand-brake' turn at end of runway - not fully understanding the handbrake actually locked the transmission: managed to flip it over on side blocking RW for hours. Got charged & fined £60!
Still got commissioned later: RAF not too picky in 80s!

So let me get this straight.
Iranians who lived Iran have gotten it all wrong.
Venezuelans who lived Venezuela have gotten it all wrong.
Cubans who lived Cuba have gotten it all wrong.
But you—who have never left the four corners of your own sublime comfort—are the bearers of truth?
@Vanguard_WW2 During the Cold War the British (RAF 26 Signals Unit) and Americans had a listening post on top of Teufelsberg.. there were fantastic views over Berlin from the canteen 😃
In Stuttgart, one of two rubble mountains is the Birkenkopf. Almost half of the city was destroyed by air raids.
On one of the large pieces of visible rubble is a plaque bearing the words (translated) "This mountain, after World War II piled up from the ruins of the city, stands as a memorial to the victims and a reminder to the living."

Once the guns had fallen silent....
In the months after the war, German women worked clearing the rubble away in war torn Berlin.
These "Trümmerfrauen" (brick women) were paid a small salary for what must have been exhausting work at a time when many German men were either too old, infirm or POWs.
Rubble that could not be recycled were taken to sites and formed "Schuttberge" (rubbish mounds).

Greek MEP Afroditi Latinopoulou has just stunned the entire EU parliament: “It is our sacred duty to help cleanse Gaza of Hamas. If Israel falls, the gates of hell will open for all of us. PALESTINIAN STATE DOES NOT EXIST.”
