@playtowinmtg Not WotC obviously, but I think it’s to match formatting on other cards. Typically if something affects power/toughness it’s formatted as a numeral. If it affects quantity it’s formatted as text. At least that’s the explanation that would make the most sense to me.

Do y'all know of any smaller coffee brands on here?

@CalebDMTG All valid points. I don't like the coop that was on the property when I moved in and the one I want to build is probably close to $2k in materials. But at least I get to hear my rooster every morning.

Actually not recommended as a cost saving measure. The coup alone runs 200-600$ and then the monthly costs of 10-15$ on feed/bedding could just be buying eggs

only solution is to acquire some hens & they will provide limitless eggs for very little cost; plus, chickens are beautiful & (usually) sweet-tempered. a rooster is a spectacular bonus but roosters are often banned in suburban areas. definitely, I had hoped to raise hens but foxes, raccoons, & other predators are too prevalent here in semi-rural NJ; the sight of slaughtered hens you'd come to love is just too ghastly.

Not only do you miss the new place you visited, but return home to grey skies, colder temps and rainy weather. Then I eat poorly and feel even sadder about my body: layering on clothes feeling thicker. It's no wonder I crash. I saw a volcano erupting of course sitting at home is not as exciting.
Plus I want to sit more, do ALL the cuddles and snuggles with my puppy to make up for being gone. Extra laziness ensues when using the excuse "how could I move off the couch with this cutie on my lap"

I've made an discovery about weight gain/vacation:
After returning home from great trips, I start over-snacking. It's like seasonal depression kicks in double. Additionally on vacation I walk A TON MORE: using public transit, beautiful hike, exploring museums and towns. When I get home I'll be the same weight as when I left. But the past 3 vacations within a couple weeks I'll gain WEIGHT.
So it's a pattern now I have to break.
I don't get "con drop" but perhaps vacay withdrawal is a thing?

We are sad to announce that we have been told by Wizards that they will no longer support us with either funding or invites to competitive events. Without this support - esp. the invites - it is impossible for us to continue, and there will be no more VML seasons going forward.

RC Portland will be my first time playing with open decklist. I was told that, before g1, focus on my opp’s maindeck and dw about their sb yet. And before g1 it’s ok to ask for/show a physical card to read since it’s not a secret it’s in the deck. Anything else to keep in mind?
