God does not bless any conflict. Anyone who is a disciple of Christ, the Prince of Peace, is never on the side of those who once wielded the sword and today drop bombs. Military action will not create space for freedom or times of #Peace, which comes only from the patient promotion of coexistence and dialogue among peoples.

@n6oflife6 @I_Am_Ilemona PDP is a very weak opposition. One would argue, ADC, recently, has done more opposition work than PDP.

@I_Am_Ilemona The Final Conclusion is that he has given you the rights to make your own “Satirical Cartoons” dragging his own current President. Get to work asap. This is my Problem with PDP. Get your Politicians to Commission a cartoonist immediately & Make it good enuf to win awards. Fin. 🤷🏽‍♂️

I wonder how you think you ate with this when I'm quite literally saying arresting you would have been wrong & I'm advocating for a space where this sort of political satire is permissible. Especially when you then worked for a president who had a far worse disposition towards these sorts of things and whose wife had someone arrested for calling her fat. ICYMI, the overall point is that Obidients have done far less in terms of this sort of criticism towards the APC than you guys did and are nowhere as vitriolic as you guys. I'd hope this clears things up for you. But knowing the proclivity for misunderstanding and needless chest thumping... Yawn!

Hahahaha ‘Arrest’ us for successfully pulling off an outstanding work of satirical puppetry? The Nigerian version of one of France’s most popular satirical shows ever—and a direct spin-off of Kenya’s hit ‘The XYZ Show.’ France: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Les_Guign… Kenya: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_XYZ_S… When are you going to let 2015 go, Ilemona? Not good for your mental health. Fun Fact: The Kenyan artist who produced the puppets for the Kenyan and Nigerian shows spent a month in France, trained by the same people who produced the puppets for France’s Les Guignols. Fun Fact 2: Ogas At The Top was nominated for a 2015 AMVCA. PS. If e easy and you have the talent and range, try am. Nobody stopping you.

Nothing personal, but Nigeria is one of the countries where I found it particularly difficult to access my own money as a foreigner. During my visit, I held accounts with Absa Group, Equity Bank, and Standard Chartered. Even withdrawing a modest amount like $200 was often a challenge. I would spend several minutes waiting at ATMs, only to find that cash had run out, especially when attempting to withdraw larger amounts equivalent to $500 or more in naira. On the payments side, the situation was equally frustrating. Many local restaurants and hotels do not readily accept international debit or credit cards. On one occasion in Abuja, after dinner, we had to send someone out to exchange $200 into naira just so we could settle the bill. When he couldn’t find a bureau de change, he ended up purchasing naira informally from individuals on the street. While I acknowledge and respect the impressive growth of fintech innovation in Nigeria, these experiences point to deeper systemic challenges, particularly around cash accessibility and the usability of international payment systems for foreigners.

One Piece EP 744 is actually goated. - Fujitora’s reflection. - The citizens support. but stand out is the new 7 pirates group asking to join the Straw Hats, and I realize “okay, Luffy is going global now” quite an emotional and intense episode for me.

@mrmaobi @BiaPulse good point but it doesn’t deny the victim justice. it is good to highlight excesses such as this.

@BraineeGa @BiaPulse He could have just said “This is a video showing a man getting slapped by by some irresponsible soldiers”. Saying a lady was brutally beaten by soldiers is a lie and automatically changes the narrative. And by so doing denies the actual victim his deserved justice.

Nigerian security personnel, especially some soldiers, are seen as among the worst offenders when it comes to the abuse of innocent civilians, often treating people harshly without justification. This has led to a situation where many civilians feel little sympathy when such personnel are attacked or ambushed by terrorists. In some cases, if a Nigerian soldier sees you in uniform, they may treat you like a hardened criminal rather than a fellow citizen. All Nigerian security agencies need to be restructured, and there should be proper psychological evaluations before recruitment. There is a growing concern that mentally unstable individuals may be entering the security services in Nigeria.

@GoodnewsNaijaTV that’s assuming they’re still 12. if you cross 18 and pay your taxes, then you have grounds to make arguments for government policies, state of the nation, etc. but I understand personal bias and it doesn’t invalidate felt economic pressures by young & old.

@BiaPulse “One thing led to another, after all said and done”. What nonsense cut and join story is that,If you want to say want happened say it in full or keep quiet. And 2ndly, the lady in this video was not beaten at all which is contrary to what the narrator said in this video.

My iPhone 17 Pro Max was ‘MOVED’ at the Eagle Square… 😭😭 Here is how the story unfolded: I arrived in Abuja at 4:10pm on Friday for the APC National Convention, which was scheduled to begin at 7pm. President Tinubu’s motorcade was expected to arrive at Eagles Square for the event. However, I had been delayed at the Lagos airport for about 45 minutes before my flight took off and then faced the stress of moving from the Abuja airport to my accommodation. My plans were slightly disrupted. Then, my colleague @Mr_JAGs called me to inform me of a significant change in the convention’s schedule. This literally raised entropy in my body system. I realised I needed to quickly change my neatly tailored kaftan to the uniform Ankara brocade (Aṣọ Ẹbi) hastily sewn for the APC Convention. It would not make sense if I looked different from the colourfully dressed Lagos delegates led by Mr. Governor. So, I rushed to my hotel to freshen up and change my clothes. I, then, joined Mr. Governor and his Governor colleagues at the Imo State Governor’s Lodge to move in a group to the venue ahead of the President’s arrival. Upon arriving at Eagle Square, the buses carrying the Governors were directed to the VVIP entrance on the opposite side of the President’s entrance. I tucked myself in this movement. Everyone disembarked and proceeded to the VVIP entrance, which was manned by a combined team of soldiers, policemen and DSS operatives. The VIP entrance consisted of three layers of checkpoints, each strictly controlled. Navigating through the first two checkpoints was chaotic. Some unaccredited individuals attempted to mingle with the Governors’ security details, but their attempts were firmly rejected by the soldiers. At the final checkpoint, there was confusion about who should be allowed access. In the ensuing disorderliness, my iPhone 17 Pro Max (2TB) was ‘Moved’ from my side pocket, which was quite deep. I was momentarily dazed by the excitement of the Governors’ grand entrance into the venue. “Where is my phone?” I exclaimed. Everything seemed blank before I came to terms with the fact that I had been robbed. My Charmast power bank and AirPods were the only working tools left on me. How would I work with such hardware? However, I strolled into Eagle Square without betraying any emotion. But within me, I was experiencing deep pain. Emi omo Mushin ni won move ni Abuja… I spotted many of my APC favourites but couldn’t take pictures with them. Pastor Okezie, Bashir Ahmad, Mayowa Davids, Segun Dada, Seyi Law and Jerry Koko, among others. I was worried about getting back to my base without a phone to use GPS. My brother, Saheed Idris, who owns the popular Lagos Gist blog, graciously lent me his small Android phone so I could connect with people while inside the Eagle Square. I tried calling my number repeatedly but no one answered. Given the huge crowd, I gave up on my iPhone. Then, I remembered my iPad, which was at the hotel with my second phone – a top series of Samsung. Most of my iPhone’s contents were on my iPad; this gave me some hope. 1/2 📸: Mahmoud Abdullahi, the suspected phone thief at Squadron Squad after his arrest…

Finally finished Attack on Titan. Man… what a show. Season 4 especially had me going through every emotion possible. Still processing the ending, but one thing I’m sure of: Eren wasn’t a villain. The Rumbling was extreme, but when you see the hatred Eldians faced for generations, you start to understand the desperation behind it. I don’t agree with wiping out humanity, but part of that rage felt… inevitable. To me the real villain was King Fritz. His decisions cursed generations and created a cycle of hatred that never stopped. Attack on Titan is way deeper than just Titans and war. It’s about racism, identity, grief, revenge, love, and the human need to belong to tribes. Brilliant writing from Hajime Isayama Still wish Eren and Mikasa got the ending they deserved though. They only shared one kiss and it had to be in his final moments. They deserved better. But honestly… if I were in Eren’s position, I don’t know what I would’ve done. That’s a level of responsibility no one should have to carry.
