We really enjoyed painting our rollercoasters today in art. We used lots of different lines and colours😊🎢

In science today, we have been matching adult animals with their offspring. We then sorted the animals into different groups 😊

We were inspired by the artist Nancy McCroskey in art and we used different pencils to help us create our designs.

Happy New Year everyone! We’ve been busy this afternoon making our Ferris wheels in design technology. We have made wheels that spin on axels and some moving pods. Some of us made axel holders too 😊

We then enjoyed making a nativity scene with some for Reverend Rundle’s friends from the church.

Thank you to Reverend Rundle for entertaining us with the story of Christmas!

We worked hard in science to test different materials to see if we could change them by bending, stretching, squashing and twisting.

We have been counting sides on 2D shapes today in maths. We have been thinking about different ways to remember the names of shapes too 😊

We are learning about materials and their properties in science. We went on a materials hunt around school and we were very impressed with everyone’s super knowledge 🤩

Children in need Friday. The children in Bramble class look fantastic this morning and hope that lots of money will be raised for @BBCiN

We had a great time with @FernclassHFS in our outdoor area this afternoon. We were planting bulbs, making nature collages, counting tree rings and exploring the different zones outside 😊

We had great fun making bird feeders with Cathy from Northumberland Wildlife Trust this morning - we hope the bird enjoy them!
