Initial voting results look great. Bruce leads Tony by 1,131 votes. This is more than a 4% lead. SD Registrar Voters last posted results at 2:52 am on 11/06/2024. We anxiously await the next update which is expected Thursday by 6 pm. Follow @SDVOTE for the latest updates.

I'm endorsing Luke Shaffer & Jim O’Hara for City Council Districts 1&2, respectfully. Luke was born and raised here, attended local schools, and has ties in every district. Jim has shown his deep knowledge with city involvement over many years. Both represent Encinitas well.

My opponent says his hands are tied, that's mostly because he has tied them. The City can lobby for anything we want. I will continue to fight for local control of our local land use ordinances.

Have you noticed that the road pavement in Encinitas has deteriorated? Even the city thinks so. Bruce highlights the decline and his focus to fix essential basic infrastructure…First! Vote for BRUCE.

Bruce is the ONLY Councilmember who has consistently voted to keep L-7, Quail Gardens Park, as a park. It was purchased by the city for Park land use, and should remain a park. Vote for Bruce to save the L-7 park.
