A4: I think expectations have to connect to Ss own goals too. What are their desired outcomes? What behaviors of theirs are most likely to produce those outcomes? #LEARNLAP

A4: keep it simple. Too many “rules” is defeating. “Work hard and be respectful,” and teach students how their choices abide by these or not as you go. #LEARNLAP

@susangbarber I’ve found that students often come with the misconception that “editing” or “revising” often just means fixing grammar errors. Where does this come from? Part of the process is showing them there’s so much more to consider as they draft and revise!
