The news on JP Crawford appears to be good. He’s returned from Texas where Dr Meister’s assessment was congruent with the team’s. Crawford received an injection, should be back on the field in a couple of days. They will then determine if he can be ready for Opening Day.

Although Mason Miller's 111.7 Adebayo is based on '24 and '25 alone, add in his 2023 and you get an Adebayo velo of 115.3 MPH. This is because his slower velos that year increase the sd enough to more than offset the decrease in mean when multiplied by 8.5

I'm going to start referring to 8.5 sd from mean events as "Adebayos" Cooper Criswell throwing a 98.4 MPH sinker would be an Adebayo, or Mason Miller chucking 111.7 on his four-seam. Longer odds than getting a royal flush in 5 Texas holdem hands in a row.
