Obviously not trying to knock the entire culture of the school. Just saying that at least the students could sing along to their Alma mater.

As the game ends, Douglass’s band rings out the final cheer as the players sing along to the Alma mater. Calhoun’s Alma mater goes with no fanfare. Big difference in culture between the two programs.

With Calhoun’s 2025 season coming to an end, we’re signing out at CFBR. We’ll talk to y’all again next August for another season of Yellow Jacket football.

Douglass advances to play at Sandy Creek next week, as Calhoun’s season comes to an end. The Yellow Jackets end the season with a 9-3 record and a region championship. It’s a tough end to a great season.

The rain resumed at the end of the first half, but has ceased for the moment as we approach the beginning of the second half.
