Idk why anyone is surprised by the Metro 2039 plot. The author of the books has always been a liberal who disliked all kinds of authoritarianism. Of course he made a story about Putin while using a Wolfenstein-like aesthetic. That's like getting mad at Rowling for taking jabs at the British aristocracy.

Just tried the Pragmata demo I unfortunately feel vindicated, the hacking and TPS gameplay feel so incredibly disjointed + Modern inertia movement and Bayonetta dodges to boot HOWEVER, much more interesting than the usual AAA slop, so kudos to the team for that

i'll keep seeing it as him having a strong point tho. I do like Remake, but that doesn't take away it being a product of its time, a formulaic sequel, and a game with less personality than the og. I keep playing RE4 every year, i haven't played Remake since it came out.

The Raid is only held in high regards by Funko Pop collectors because of the gore and not the choreography. Because to this day SPL & Flash Point from Donnie Yen, which set the template for modern martial art films destroys the Raid. The film that brought it up a notch after Flash Point was The Protector from Tony Jaa. Nothing has come close to that until the resurrection of Black Jesus in The Furious this summer which will be the new King. Shit, even Devil Hunters is leagues better than the freaking Raid in choreography and stunts to the point Moon Lee and Sibelle Hu suffer 3rd degree burns on set. So FOH with The Raid.
