The Student of Color Union (SOC) did a fantastic job decorating the bulletin board with inspirational quotes and pictures of notable members of the Black Community, in celebration of Black History Month. #WeAreEC

To celebrate Black History Month, East Catholic faculty and staff have decorated their classroom and office doors throughout the school recognizing those from the Black community who have made significant impact on our communities and society as a whole.

Today we bow our heads to receive #ashes. #Lent is a humble descent both inwards and towards others. It is about realizing that salvation is not an ascent to glory, but a descent in love. It is about becoming little. vatican.va/content/france…

CAW has had the gift of Sr. Mary Kolbe Heffern, FSE as a teacher for almost 2 years. This week we bid farewell, as Sister answered our Lord's call to serve children in another state. Please join us in praying for her good health, happiness, and holiness in her new journey!


During CSW we also indulged in "drop everyting and read!" A few times during the day Ms. Plasky got on the loud speaker and annouced those words and everyone dropped what they were doing, grabbed their book, and enjoyed some quiet, uninterupted reading time. #smsmilford
