Hundreds of millions of people throughout the world are immersed in extreme poverty. Yet, disproportionate wealth remains in the hands of a few. It is an unjust scenario, in the face of which we cannot fail to question ourselves and commit to change things. There is no lack of resources at the root of disparities, but the need to address solvable problems related to a more equitable distribution of wealth, to be achieved with moral sense and honesty.

@Catholic_Piper So many blends, so little time! 😂 I remember when WCC had a store on Main St in Waltham, but I wasn’t a pipe smoker then. Next time I’m in Framingham I hope to pay them a visit. Maybe I can ask Ernie Q if my favorite blend (Nor’easter) will ever be in stock again.

@Papijoe62 Yeah, I tend to be a hard puffer. Need to keep an eye on my cadence too. Haven't tried anything from Watch City yet, but really need too. London Flake is excellent. Also really like No 8 slice. Been slowly working my way throughall the Peretti blends. The Burleys are next.

@Catholic_Piper I just tried a couple of VA forward blends from your neck of the woods: Peretti London Flake and Watch City 558. Both were good, I find it takes me some work to find the right pipe and cadence for those VA/Per and English blends.

@Papijoe62 Anytime. It was good, but a lot of the C&D Virginia blends need to be aged. Even when they use the older leaf they have in hand.
