@EdKrassen Here's my concerns: -Bill Clinton is accused by multiple women of rape, and he remains free to commit further rapes. -Joe Biden sold his office for favor and is now acting like a dictator trying to jail his opposition.

There is a new report that shows that China paid Trump's businesses more than $5 million while he was president. Of course MAGA Republicans will say, "That's perfectly fine because Trump ran legitimate businesses." That's absurd. Here's why: 1) Trump's businesses were not all "legitimate." A federal Judge has literally ruled that the Trump Organization had committed fraud. Additionally the Trump Foundation was shut down because it was accused of "persistent illegality" and using its funds for personal and political gain. So no, his businesses were not all legitimate. In fact some were illegitimate. 2) Even if you want to say that Trump ran legitimate businesses, that absolutely doesn't have anything to do with why it's concerning. It would be concerning because there is the possibility of corruption. It doesn't matter if there was a legitimate business or not because at any moment China could have pulled that money, and that creates a terrible conflict of interest, and potential for corruption. This is like saying the Drug Dealer shouldn't be viewed as a drug dealer because he's running a legal laundromat.

Article I, Section 9 of the Constitution is clear: A president cannot accept any emolument from foreign governments. This means they cannot profit from their job. And yet, that’s exactly what Trump did. $7.8 million during his presidency. Given the chance, Trump will put his financial interests over our national security interests — every single time.

It is unconstitutional because the President can't unilaterally forgive debt like that. It is immoral/unethical because students willingly signed up to take on the debt and chose their own educational path which has economic returns that are publicly available -- ie they did it to themselves freely
