The City of Festus, MO canceled their Council meeting for tonight following last night's election whereby citizens voted out of office every single member who voted for the data center there that the people did not want. Micro to macro, that is how we hold them accountable.

Folks: I had a great call this morning with our US Attorney in Charlotte.
Brown remains in federal custody and so the parallel state proceedings are in no way dispositive. There will be a federal competency determination and prosecution track taking precedence.

Customer buys 90 year old brick house
Doesn’t realize that in the 30s brick mortar was mostly made up of lime with next to zero Portland cement. (It’s pretty much just lime putty and sand)
Gets mad at me when I explain to him that I can’t anchor anything to his foundation until he gets a brick mason to redo his entire home with modern mortar which is almost 97% Portland cement (with lime added only for workability).

@Babygravy9 Almost all Heavy whipping cream has carrageenan in it. No regular grocery store in my area carries clean heavy whipping cream, which I put in my coffee and scrambled eggs. Only the local Co Op.

It’s worth remembering that carrageenan, a seaweed derivative, is used to induce inflammatory tumours in lab rodents. It’s nasty nasty stuff and you should get rid of it from your diet. It’s in some milk, yoghurt, ice cream and processed food.

Emulsifiers in processed foods have been poisoning people for decades. It's now so bad that even the WSJ is writing about it. Emulsifiers increase the risk of heart disease, Type 2 diabetes, and some cancers. They change the gut microbiome in ways that cause inflammation. Carboxymethylcellulose reduces bacterial diversity and increases "bad" bacteria. Bacteria bred on these additives invade the inner mucus layer of the gut, leading to inflammation throughout the body and increasing the risk of IBD. Scientists are investigating low-emulsifier diets as a potential treatment for Crohn's disease. "... carrageenan impairs glucose tolerance, increases insulin resistance and inhibits insulin signalling in vivo in mouse liver and human HepG2 cells. These effects may result from carrageenan-induced inflammation. The results demonstrate extra-colonic manifestations of ingested carrageenan and suggest that carrageenan in the human diet may contribute to the development of diabetes."
