Lots of attention on the Texas YIMBY lawsuit to ease nuclear regulation, not a lot on the Texas NIMBY lawsuit to block nuclear waste storage in the state. In a 6-3 decision made on procedural grounds, SCOTUS ruled against the Lone Star State's attempt to halt a federal plan for a storage facility the NRC licensed in 2021.
