Assistants who position themselves like free agents advance faster than assistants who act like employees. Same is true for head coaches. Both need the same mentality when they have momentum. Here's what free agent mentality looks like: 🧵

FREE AGENT MENTALITY: Build your own brand while employed. Network outside your program. Communicate your value proactively. Position yourself for opportunities before they exist. Understand your job is temporary and build accordingly. That's how you advance.
