We would like to pass along our condolences to @trinitysports and the entire Trinity family after the passing of Dennis Lampley. He was a person and leader that made people around him better, in turn making everyone in our rivalry better. May he rest in peace.

Giant and legend are not strong enough words when describing Dennis Lampley. Very few actually “coach” with the transformational passion and love like he did. His HOF legacy is embodied through the the countless people he impacted and the lives he forever changed. RIP💔

Coach Dennis Lampley is a legend. We served on the Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Foundation Board together. One of the finest men I’ve had the pleasure to know. God broke the mold with Coach. Rest in peace and find a good duck blind.

Lost my best friend and the greatest man I’ve ever known last night after a long battle with Alzheimers. Dad impacted generations of young men at Trinity, with an influence that far overshadowed his Hall of Fame career. I pray that I can be half the man and father that he was.
