We hope everyone had an enjoyable and entertaining 4th of July last night! During the Firestone July 4th Celebration the Coast Guard provided security to the event and ensured safe boating due to the high boat traffic on the lake.

PRESS RELEASE Earlier today it was reported the Redwood Dam had collapsed which resulted in bursting pipelines and flooding. The FS Coast Guard and fellow emergency response agencies came together and were able to rescue multiple people trapped or injured from the collapse.

Welcome to the Beach! The FSCG along with its counter-parts including SCSO, SCFD SAR, and other various agencies assisted in the first beach party shortly after it was unveiled to the public. The party was enjoyed by many and included vendors and music! @FedoraMasterB98

The Coast Guard and other various State agencies have been showing a higher presence at some high risk locations after numerous coordinated attacks have taken place at said facilities. The Coast Guard continues to ensure the safety and security of Firestone's waterway and coast.

You've probably seen this around the county before, but do you know what it means? Probably not, these signs mean that there are active technicians performing site preparations or simple pipeline inspections, it is advised when you see this sign to slow down and drive safe.
