Millions of views accumulated around the claim that the Prime Minister was dead and replaced by an AI deepfake. Snopes, Lead Stories, and Politifact debunked it within 24 hours: a lighting artifact at a single frame, not generative AI. Netanyahu’s response was not a press statement. It was a cafe. On 15th March, he posted a video from a Tel Aviv cafe, 2.4 million views on X, sitting among staff and patrons, speaking Hebrew, sipping coffee, and deliberately spreading his fingers for the camera. Watch.” The video is casual, unscripted, and designed to do one thing: prove that the leader of the country prosecuting the war can sit in public, unarmed, unguarded by visible security theatre, and mock the people who said he was dead.
