My MAP class had an amazing opportunity to be penpals with students in Ukraine this year. We wrote letters introducing ourselves and asking questions to better get to know other middle school students around the world! 🌎 🇺🇦 ✍️ @POBSchools

To conclude our Greek Olympic unit, students designed and built acropolis’ 🇬🇷 🏛️

Introduced new chatbots and image creators in class today to help guide our research and take our informational books to the next level! 🤖 📖 💻 @EAnninoPOBLit @goldbergpobtech @POBMS

Trusting our peers is crucial, and practicing how to follow directions can be fun . ✍️ ⭕️

Literacy week is underway at @POBMS! Book Club members and student leaders are helping to prep for the activities. 📖 📚 🧳 ✈️ We are ready to explore and travel through books that take us on new adventures!

Peer revisions are helpful. Students provided meaningful feedback to partners on their literary essays. ✍️ 👥 @POBMS

To conclude our Religious Freedoms unit, we added our personal touch and had a celebration of cultures! Students discussed their families religious beliefs and shared customs and special holiday traditions. ❄️ @POBMS @EAnninoPOBLit

The @POBMS Book Club leaders read aloud to 5th grade classes to discuss the meaning of traditions for Thanksgiving. 🦃 So grateful for our student leaders that wanted to instill the love of reading to younger peers!

The @POBMS Annual Book Talk was a great success. Thank you to the administrators, teachers/staff, parents and students that joined us for breakfast! We “solved” the puzzle with hints about symbolic items from the noble Liar and Spy! 🕵️‍♀️
