We were back in rehearsal last night kick-starting preparations for our 2025/26 season! Up first is a programme of music that really packs an emotional punch. Save the date - 15th November 2025 - and we will be joined by a full orchestra and two fantastic soloists! #choral

What a super concert tonight with @CongletonCS ! Music by @olagjeilo & Haydn wonderfully executed with a fine team of soloists. The Britten Serenade featured excellent work from Chris Why, David Tollington & wonderful accompanying all evening from National Festival Orchestra!

A reminder that tomorrow’s concert begins at 7pm! It will be warm in the Town Hall so dressing for the weather is advised! We can’t wait to share this wonderful music!

Looking forward to heading back to #Buxton for the @BuxtonFestival Space Day! Local primary school children have helped create a new song which they will sing before hearing music from Holst’s ‘The Planets’ arranged for chamber ensemble, along with projections and poetry!
