Actually thinking about this a little further and including the precious metals processed through the copper recycling system (in this case silver), it's still 1% of the weight, but now it becomes 30% of the value.

Copper in solar panels: 1% of material weight, 6% of material value - diva-portal.org/smash/get/diva… In all electrical and electronic equipment, copper represents between 1 and 10% of material use, but punches well above its weight on circularity.
