Hate to bring up Monday morning, but if you're in Marysville beware - SRB SR 529 is closed at Ebey Slough til 11pm Monday. That means extra traffic at Fourth St & I-5, especially tomorrow morning. Try the I-5 interchanges at 88th or 116th. Plan ahead! @EverettCity @WA_Marysville

SB SR 529 has reopened! Our contractor finished early this week. Remember, we have another long weekend of work on SB SR 529 at Steamboat Slough 11pm Friday June 6 to 11pm Friday, June 10. We'll close again at Ebey Slough. Thanks for your patience! @EverettCity @WA_Marysville

SB SR529, SB I-5 off-ramp to 529 closed 11pm Friday May 30-11pm Tuesday June 3 at Ebey Slough for repairs to SB Steamboat Slough Bridge. NB 529 remains open; use that to get to Smith Island. You can use either direction of 529 to leave the island. @EverettCity @WA_Marysville

There are still signs out in Everett and on SR 529 NB that say "closed" that they are picking up, but we have visual confirmation the roadway is open and currently flowing nicely.

Thank you WSDOT! Traffic can now get from Everett to Marysville on SR 529. That's the preferred route right now, wide open....

OPEN! NB SR 529 at Steamboat Slough opened early this morning! The work went so smoothly and there were no surprises, our contractor is finished for this week. Another weekend begins at 11pm this Friday, May 9, so stay turned. @EverettCity @WA_Marysville

Weekend closures are going well with mostly normal congestion, but Monday and Tuesday afternoon promise to be a grind. WFH, transit, carpool, active transportation if you can.

Monday and Tuesday afternoon will be highest impact for Everett as SR 529 commuters attempt to get onto I-5 onramps at 41st St and Everett Ave. Expect widespread congestion in central Everett. Pack your patience and maybe a snack if you need to go north.

From 1200 to 57,220 customers out in about 30 minutes. Going to be a lot of dark signals that are all way stops this morning. Slow is the way to go on your commute this morning, watch for pedestrians and down trees and lines. Everett seems to be mostly spared at this point.
