Whenever people laugh at me for posting a $5 or $10 profit, I just smile. They don't know the strategy behind it. This is for every newbie struggling to become profitable. The first thing you need to change IS your strategy & psychology. Stop chasing unrealistic profits, with your tiny portfolio. Instead of asking, "How do I make $100 today?" ask yourself, "What's the amount I can consistently make every single day?" That one question changed my trading. For example, if I can comfortably make $20 a day, that's about ₦27,400 (at ₦1,370/$). ₦27,400 × 30 days = ₦822,000. Now imagine someone with a small account. Let's say all you can consistently make is $2 a day. That's about ₦2,740 daily. ₦2,740 × 30 days = ₦82,200. That's already around an average monthly salary for average nigerians. Or maybe you can consistently make $5 a day. That's roughly ₦6,850 daily. ₦6,850 × 30 days = ₦205,500. Instead of trying to turn a small account into millions overnight, build the habit of paying yourself. Make your target. Close your laptop. Come back tomorrow. One mistake beginners make is looking at "$5" like it's nothing, convert it to your local currency first. You'll realize it's not as small as you thought. Another thing people don't know... When you see me post a $5 P&L, that doesn't mean I only made one trade. Most times, I've taken multiple trades, secured that $5 in like 5 places that $25. That's why you see me doing P2P almost every day. Small, consistent wins build confidence. Confidence builds discipline. Discipline builds bigger accounts. This compounding mindset is one of the biggest reasons I've been able to scale my trading, save capital, and eventually afford funded accounts. You don't have to make life-changing money today.
