ICYMI, this is what "rails changing" actually looks like in practice.
Two years ago I mapped my ENS name to FREDHSU .COM the old way. It worked, but it felt like duct tape with lots of steps and lots of mental overhead.
Here is the new way:
1) Your DNS name IS your wallet identity
2) No DNSSEC gymnastics
3) No manual record hell
4) One canonical name across Web1, Web2 and Web3 (read: wallets)
Speaking as someone was managing Linux & FreeBSD DNS clusters since college: when the infrastructure disappears, adoption doesn’t need convincing.
And it stops being ENS vs DNS - it becomes one mental model.

We built subdomains because "tokenize and hope people trade it" is a terrible product strategy
Domains needed utility, not just tradability. Stake your token, mint subdomains with working DNS, build revenue streams.
