@MissThangBDA @jwm_94 I think this is a question that only @DGeneralBDA should answer. But I will say this, he deserves all of the credit for bringing this to Bermuda. From the outside looking in, I think there's benefit to having more structure around the weekend of events as there was in the past.

Bermuda Carnival is probably the best idea anyone has had in recent decades. It consistently generates interest and visitors to Bermuda year over year. Congrats to everyone involved. Long may its success continue.

@JamelHardtman And by comparison… you get the same $4 to $20 range overseas… so why are drink prices the same as the places we travel to, but our food is so much higher?? Maybe they want us to be drunk and disorderly?? 🤔

Accepting alcohol as a part of what defines Bermudian culture isn't it. Not in 2023, when we see how much pain it continues to inflict on our community through personal choice.
