No need to give Amazon another $2.99 a month they dont need to not be interrupted with commercials, when I can support a great company and get a blu-ray in the mail...with never an ad in sight. @DVDInbox

This is the most dangerous media consolidation in American history. Netflix is trying to acquire Warner Bros. and HBO in an $82 Billion deal. This means Barack and Michelle Obama and the Democrat super-donors that run Netflix will now own a monopoly on children’s entertainment. - The Obamas already have a nine-figure Netflix production deal - They’ve released 17 propaganda titles focused on children, fatherhood, BLM, and trans ideology. - Obama insider Susan Rice sits on Netflix’s board With this deal, they will now control: Batman, Superman, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Looney Tunes, Scooby-Doo, and many other children's classics. If it closes, the most powerful propaganda machine in history will be owned by the same people who weaponized the IRS, the FBI, and the DOJ against American citizens. They will rewrite the scripts, reboot the heroes, and algorithm-push trans ideology, race guilt, and anti-family messaging straight into your living room. Your daughter will be told girls can be boys before she can read. Your son will be told America was built on evil. Antitrust laws exist for this exact moment. They prohibits mergers that create monopolies. This is textbook illegal. Cancel Netflix today. Call the FTC and DOJ with demands to stomp this deal under every antitrust statute on the books. Force Congress to block it. Kill the deal. Full stop.

🚨 MAJOR TWIST: Paramount Skydance is reportedly launching a hostile takeover of Warner Bros. By bypassing leadership to appeal directly to shareholders, they aim to disrupt the pending Netflix deal—which has been agreed upon but not yet officially signed. Skydance argues their all-cash offer is superior to Netflix's. Meanwhile, Comcast (NBCUniversal) has officially dropped out of the race. Source: CNBC, NY Post

Warner Bros. CEO David Zaslav says: "HBO Max will stay. So anybody that has Netflix and has HBO Max will have a better experience. For people that only want HBO Max, they'll be able to get it." "And Channing [Dungey] and the whole [Warner Bros.] TV production team will be producing content for others and for HBO and for Netflix. And I think for Netflix, they will now be the biggest maker of content with one of the greatest storytelling library in the world, together with their platform." variety.com/2025/film/news…

Netflix buying Warner Bros feels like the end of an era. This is not about growing cinema, it is about locking everything into streaming and forgetting what made movies matter in the first place. Warner Bros was the studio that gave us classics on the big screen, and now it is swallowed by a company that only cares about pushing content through an app. Collectors know the difference. Physical releases, theaters, the shared experience of film, that is cinema. When the focus shifts to streaming only, you lose the artistry, the permanence, and the respect for the medium. It is not progress, it is the death of cinema dressed up as convenience. We will know more in four years when all the current productions have played out. That is when the real impact will be clear. #Netflix #WarnerBros

When asked if Netflix is destroying Hollywood, co-CEO Ted Sarandos said “No, we’re saving Hollywood.” “We’re in a period of transition. Folks grew up thinking, ‘I want to make movies on a gigantic screen and have strangers watch them [and to have them] play in the theater for two months and people cry and sold-out shows … It’s an outdated concept.”
