Most ObGyn rotations are Labor floor heavy, and rotations for different Gyn subspecialties are based on luck of the draw. Convinced @DVarotsis when he was a 3rd year and I was an intern to join the #Gyn gang and become a pelvic surgeon...but we need to do better.

Always a little shocking when medical students rotating through the gyn/onc service realize the breadth of gyn surgery - #urogyn, benign gyn/MIGs, onc, PAGs. Grateful for @wakehealth where we were exposed to fellowship trained surgeons in 3/4 of the above.

Potentially unpopular take: I never liked all the pomp and circumstance around match day. There are plenty of lows to go with the highs. The match is intrinsically unfair and I’m not sure the outcomes, good or bad, should be broadcast to the entire school in such a public way.
