We built an entire IDE from scratch. Not a VS Code extension. Not a plugin. A full desktop app purpose-built for Solana developers. It's called Daemon. Here's what's inside:

AI is onboarding a completely new class of developers. People who would’ve never touched Rust or Solana before. The question isn’t “can they start?” It’s: what tools help them actually ship?

Addressing the nonstop dex comments.
REVENGE ARC (I'M HIM. BIO/ACC)@RetardedNi85688

Alright I'll address the issue brought up by the @DaemonTerminal $daemon community members which is the issue of Dex not being paid. Please read this carefully and thoughtfully. Everyone wants the DEX paid immediately — which is understandable. Visibility matters, and feel like progress. But we also need to look at the trade-off. Right now the team is operating with limited budget. Every dollar spent is coming directly out of development runway. Paying for DEX immediately gives optics, but it doesn’t improve the product. In fact, it risks slowing down the exact thing that gives this project long-term value which is shipping. There are basically two paths: 1) Pay for DEX now → short-term optics improve, but development slows or pauses. 2) Keep building → product improves, usage grows, and DEX can be paid sustainably from fees. Only one of those actually compounds. A DEX listing without continued progress doesn’t help anyone. Liquidity dries up, attention fades, and the same people asking for the listing will then ask why nothing is shipping. But if the team focuses on building first, the situation flips: - better product - more users - stronger narrative - organic demand - sustainable funding for DEX That’s a healthier path. This isn’t about avoiding the DEX — it’s about sequencing. Build → traction → fees → pay DEX. Not the other way around. Short-term optics matter, but long-term execution matters more. And if the goal is for this to become real infrastructure, then protecting the runway is the rational move. Sometimes the strongest signal of commitment isn’t spending — it’s choosing to keep building. So please do bear in mind that the greatest projects don't always come from gold they could come from iron fillings. I'm still very bullish on $daemon just thought I'd clear it up for y'all. Ca if you still see the vision 👇 4vpf4qNtNVkvz2dm5qL2mT6jBXH9gDY8qH2QsHN5pump

Dropping an official token soon to help fund development. Holders get exclusive access + revenue share opportunities. We're shooting hard for the hackathon win if you like the project, come build with us. $DAEMON more details soon.

We redesigned the Daemon site. Cleaner structure, tighter copy, sharper product framing. Daemon is a Solana-native IDE with agents, wallet tooling, launches, swaps, and deploys in one workspace. See it here: daemonide.tech

The vision is bigger than “just another IDE.” DAEMON is aiming to become the home base for building on Solana: better defaults, tighter workflows, native agents, and a product that helps teams ship faster. That’s the direction.

The roadmap is simple: • Core IDE • Solana-native workflows • Mobile app • Future features The goal is to make the loop from idea → code → deploy dramatically faster, cleaner, and more native for builders.

Most crypto dev tooling still feels stitched together. Too many tabs. Too many plugins. Too much friction between idea and execution. DAEMON is building the opposite: a purpose-built workspace for shipping on Solana.🧵

@DaemonTerminal Hey @DaemonTerminal what you are building is cool. DAEMON feels like "Unity" but for Solana builders ... super clean and all-in-one. I'd love to be part of it. Happy to be your voice out here as a creator and help spread the word. Let me know how I can contribute!

Hey @colosseum Frontier builders! I’m a judge. I’m even billed above @toly. Which means I’m probably more important. Why are you not in my replies shilling your project, asking for feedback?!?

@DaemonTerminal @colosseum @toly Why do I need it? And how do you get it in the hands of other users? Have you integrated @phantom connect or mcp server yet? It’s probably a natural fit.

@adamdelphantom @colosseum @toly @phantom If you're a developer on Solana this becomes your home base. All developer tools for solana all in one place. Of course we've incorporated all major solana MCPs, SDKs, and others including @phantom it is indeed a natural fit 💪
