Jesus taught that the Law of Moses is not abolished (Matthew 5:17), that it will remain in force for as long as heaven and earth endure (Matthew 5:18), and that his followers must obey and teach it (Matthew 5:19). In His parable of the Lost Sheep, Yeshua expresses the heart of God toward His wayward people with the imagery of a shepherd who intentionally seeks and rescues his sheep that have gone astray (Matthew 18:10-14). We ought to have that same heart for those who have wandered away from the truth into sin. Just as the flock is not whole when one sheep goes missing, our communities are not whole when even one person abandons the ways of Messiah. And just as the shepherd rejoices over finding the lost sheep, we are to have that same sentiment when a brother or sister repents of their sin. Yeshua said, "So it is not the will of my Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish" (Matthew 18:14).

Joel, this is not an accurate representation of what the Church fathers believed about Israel. Many of them held supersessionist beliefs, but not to the extremes of later Reformed theologians. This is Augustine in the City of God: "It is a familiar theme in the conversation and heart of the faithful, that in the last days before the judgment, the Jews shall believe in the true Christ [...] by means of this great and admirable prophet Elijah who shall expound the law to them." Many of the Fathers held to some future, distinct blessing for Israel bc of their belief that OT prophecy still has a literal fulfillment and application regarding national Israel. So was Augustine "Team Zionist"?

Your side, on the other hand, includes post 1907 charismatics, the theologically illiterate bottom rung of low-church evangelicals, the orbit of Dallas Theological (but I repeat myself), people who listen to CCM, denominations that ordain homosexuals and women, the New Apostolic Reformation, TBN, Mormons, and absolutely no one prior to 1821. Congratulations. What a team.

How do we make sense of God’s goodness in light of suffering? First, we recognize that the trials we endure in this life pale in comparison to the immeasurable worth of knowing God. Despite our suffering, we affirm God’s goodness because we know God, who is himself the source of true fulfillment, surpassing anything this world can offer. Second, the Scriptures teach that God uses our suffering to refine our character and make us more like Yeshua, revealing a redemptive side to suffering. Third, we recognize that this life isn’t all there is. As believers, we hold onto the hope that God will set everything right in the end, abolishing suffering entirely (Revelation 21:4). May God give you strength to endure this “light momentary affliction.”

You clearly don't. Christians are the ones who see him as keeping his word, which is why we reject the idea that we are currently living in the New Earth. If that indeed were the case, then God did not keep his word in any meaningful sense. All you have to do is read what his word says about what the New Earth would be like.
