The funny thing about this ep is that while it was saved and we didn't end up with a 'missing' ep of Gin & TARDIS, @David_Kitchen_ and I *did* record a 25m conversation to take it's place if we couldn't run with the original ep and now *that* ep is 'the missing ep', LOL.

I thought this was an excellent sci-fi movie! Really enjoyed it, made my think, made me feel... just really loved it. Definitely a "see in the cinema" movie! (Apart from one possibly very big plot hole?)

And FWIW I don't recall any negative comments about "the new Brig" in fandom down here at the time. In fact, most fans seemed to think she was a pretty exciting character!

Glad to hear lots of positive things about this (IMO!) very underrated story on @Diddly_Dum! Although I did think they were a little harsh about Ben and Andrew, who I've found to be pretty honest about the weaknesses of their youthful early works!

Time for Infinite Requiem on @NAsEDAs with @Grumpy2EB! I know I read this, but until Phractons were mentioned I couldn't remember anything about it! And yes, the cover is IMO the worst of the range. But a fun chat about this fine but forgettable book!

Only god-tier Doctor Who allowed on Jaconda this weekend! My favourite serial from my favourite era! This seems to have become a bit of an also-ran in fan opinion when compared to the rest of Season 7. In my eyes it’s the jewel of Pertwee’s debut season! 🤩

Watching s21 Behind the Sofas: Great season! Only 2 poor stories, IMO Consistently strong guests! Davo & Colin's reactions to regen are lovely. These are SO much better when cast are allowed to react to things on the show, not have it all explained to them before it happens!
