Getting the @framer Expert badge made me realize something. You don’t get better by planning more. You get better by finishing things. Templates, sites, whatever it is, just getting them out there changes everything.

Lowkey one of the hardest parts of building @framer templates: Knowing when to stop. You can always add another section. Another variation. Another detail. At some point you just ship it and move on to the next one.

People want a beautiful @framer template. But they’ll pick the one they can actually use. If it looks great but takes hours to figure out, they’re gone. A template can look amazing… but if it’s not easy to adapt, it doesn’t matter. That’s the part I’ve been focusing on lately, and making a good for all template is harder than a client project.

🤔Curious about something: When you build a landing page for your @framer templates, what takes the longest? • Writing the copy • Designing the layout • Tweaking spacing / details

One thing I like about building @framer templates is that they never really feel “finished” There’s always a layout tweak. A section that could be clearer. Something that could convert better. You just ship the best version you can, and move on to the next build. Here are snapshots of my latest work
