It’s just wrestling. On January 4th Gabe Arnold wrestled in the finals at the Soldier Salute at 174 pounds. Less than 10 days later Iowa would lose Endene off the roster, and Ferrari sidelined due to injury shortly after. Arnold filled in at 184 until Ferrari’s return, then moved up to fill the hole at 197. He came into the NCAA’s the 27 seed and is now an All-American.

@KevinBlack98 It’s in a bill that passed the House, but hasn’t passed the state Senate yet. If approved, Iowa would be the 14th state to allow 8th graders to play high school sports.

Chad Greenway’s daughter. In Minnesota you can play 6 years of high school hoops, but nevertheless this is an ABSURD number. There’s only a few dozen Iowa high school girls who have reached 2,000 career points. Even with a couple more years of eligibility, reaching this kind of number is elite.
