Thank you to everyone who joined us for this year’s Langar Seva at Brampton City Hall. Langar, the tradition of serving free vegetarian meals, holds profound significance in the Sikh community and reflects the values of equality, inclusivity and service to humanity. Hosted by Deputy Mayor Harkirat Singh, Councillor Gurpartap Singh Toor and Councillor Navjit Kaur Brar, the gathering offered a shared meal and an opportunity for residents to connect, reflect and engage. It was heartening to see so many members of the community sharing a meal, strengthening connections and celebrating a tradition rooted in compassion, service and care for one another.
