I've been seeing similar across Europe, as well as in Zurich / Geneva on my trip on the weekend. There are gains with international media as well, they're starting to report on Pakistan very differently to how they used to. Let's hope Pakistan can build on this, it's been one of the most misunderstood countries and with all the hard work gone into the mediation efforts, new doors are opening and the narrative can finally be corrected and set in stone.

Today at Zurich Airport, a Swiss officer saw my Pakistani passport and immediately started appreciating Pakistan’s role in helping prevent a wider global conflict. She didn’t know who I was she was simply appreciating to the country written on my passport. I’ve been traveling across Europe for the last 10 years, and this is the first time I’ve experienced something like this from an immigration officer. Maybe some people won’t understand what I’m trying to say, but I felt it. Today our group of trip clients and friends went to a BBQ dinner in Guangzhou, China (a big restaurant with 100+ tables) where at least 500 people were dining. We went in two cars. All arrived and sat down to eat. Suddenly a man came bringing an iPhone forgotten in the car. I am sure he had driven a few kilometers away after dropping us and then searched for our table at the far end of the restaurant.
